Text tools cover the small jobs that come up every day: checking a word count before you submit, fixing the case of a heading, stripping line breaks from text copied out of a PDF, removing duplicate lines from a list, or comparing two versions of a paragraph. Each tool does one thing and shows the result live, so you can paste, look and copy back without pressing a button. The counters handle any language, including Chinese, Japanese and Korean, and they treat emoji and accented characters as single characters. Everything runs in your browser; the text never leaves your device, which makes these tools safe for drafts, contracts and anything else you would rather not upload. Your last input is kept in this browser only, so you can come back to it. Use Clear to remove it.
Common questions
Is the text I paste uploaded to a server?
No. Every text tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The page loads once, and after that the text you paste stays in the tab. You can turn off your connection and the tools keep working. Nothing is logged, stored or sent anywhere.
Is there a limit on how much text I can paste?
There is no fixed limit, but very large texts depend on your device. A few megabytes of plain text work fine on a modern phone. Tools that need longer processing show progress instead of freezing the page. The last input is remembered only up to 200 KB.
