Link to QR Code

A direct link in a QR code. Download PNG or SVG.

Include http:// or https://. Maximum 1,800 UTF-8 bytes.

Your link stays in this tab. No saved history or scan tracking.

Paste a link to create your QR code.

Scan the downloaded file before printing. Keep its white border.

Put a website address on a poster, printed menu, presentation or business card without asking people to type it. Paste a complete HTTP or HTTPS link and generate a QR code that contains that address directly. There is no intermediate service or account to maintain. Download a PNG for everyday use or an SVG for a layout that needs to scale. Test the finished code with a phone before printing or sharing it.

How to use

  1. Paste the complete website address, including https:// or http://.
  2. Choose error correction and a module size. The exact image dimensions appear after generation.
  3. Select Generate QR, then download the PNG or SVG file.
  4. Scan the downloaded code and confirm the destination before printing copies.

What it handles

  • Static codes contain your link directly; this tool adds no redirects, tracking or expiration.
  • A four-module white border and black modules keep the code readable.
  • The pasted link is not stored in browser storage or placed in the page URL.
  • Up to 1,800 UTF-8 bytes; dense links may require lower error correction.

FAQ

Will this QR code expire or require a subscription?

The generated file has no expiry controlled by this tool and needs no subscription. It contains your address rather than a managed redirect. The destination still needs to stay available: if its page moves, closes or requires a login, people scanning the code will encounter that change too.

Can I change the destination after printing the code?

Not inside an existing static QR code. Generate a new file when the encoded address changes. If you own the destination website, you can update the page at that same address. Do not assume that printing a new code updates old posters. Scan every final print proof before distributing it.

Should I download PNG or SVG, and how large should it be?

PNG works in many document editors and messaging applications. SVG scales for print layouts without blurring its modules. Keep the white border and avoid stretching, cropping or decorative overlays. Error correction can help with damage but does not guarantee scanning. Test at the actual printed size and viewing distance with a phone.

Are my link and its contents checked or uploaded?

Generation happens in your browser. The tool validates the URL structure but does not visit the destination, check its safety or upload the address. HTTP and HTTPS links are accepted; embedded usernames and passwords are rejected. Anyone who scans the code can read the link, so avoid sharing private access tokens.
