Image Converter
Change the format, keep the dimensions. No uploads.
Files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
JPEG, PNG, WebP · 30 files · 50 MB each · 200 MB total · 25 MP and 16,384 px per side.
JPEG: white background. PNG/WebP: transparency. Animation becomes a still frame; source metadata is not copied.
90% is the starting value. Higher quality can make a larger file; it cannot restore lost detail.
PNG uses lossless encoding. No quality slider is needed; the result may be larger than WebP.

Convert an image when a website, document editor or printing workflow needs a different file format. This tool turns PNG, JPEG and WebP files into the format you choose without resizing or stretching them. Add one picture or a batch, choose the output, then download the finished files separately. Each result shows a preview and its size so you can check it before saving. The original files remain untouched on your device.
How to use
- Choose or drop up to 30 PNG, JPEG or WebP files into the file area.
- Select the output format for the whole batch. Choose PNG or WebP if you need transparency.
- Select Convert images and wait for each result to appear.
- Check the previews and download individual files or all completed results in a ZIP.
What it handles
- Dimensions stay unchanged, including portrait orientation stored in JPEG photos.
- PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPEG replaces transparent pixels with white.
- Choose 50–100% quality for JPEG and WebP; PNG encoding is lossless.
- Cancel keeps finished files. Clear, changed format or quality removes old results.
- Download individual files or a ZIP of completed images, with unique filenames.
- Files are processed sequentially in a worker; one failed image does not stop the batch.
FAQ
Can I convert WebP to JPG for an upload form?
Yes. Choose JPEG as the output and add your WebP files. The tool produces actual JPEG data, not just a renamed extension. Check the new file size before uploading it elsewhere: conversion can increase size, and a format change does not guarantee that another site's upload limit will be met.
Will converting to PNG improve a blurry photo?
No. PNG preserves the pixels produced during conversion but cannot recover detail already lost in a JPEG or a small source image. This tool does not sharpen, upscale or reconstruct pictures. Keep the original if you intend to make further edits, and avoid repeatedly converting between lossy formats.
What happens to transparency, animation and metadata?
Transparent areas survive PNG and WebP output but become white in JPEG. Animated inputs become a still frame rather than an animation. The browser applies JPEG orientation and creates a new image; original EXIF metadata is not copied. Color rendering can vary between browsers and color-managed applications.
How large can the files be?
Add up to 30 files, each at most 50 MB, with 200 MB total input. Each image must fit within 25 megapixels and 16,384 pixels on either side. Oversized dimensions are rejected rather than silently reduced. Processing requires a browser with worker OffscreenCanvas support.
